Responsibilities
  • Oversee the written work of Feature Writers and multi-platform Producers, while partnering closely with Executive Producers.
  • Maintain CNNI’s high journalistic standards by fact-checking, editing and writing feature content that is balanced, fair and engaging to a global multi-platform audience.
  • Be a guardian of CNNI’s editorial procedures and processes.
  • Coach team members in how to write engaging stories, meeting regularly with Content Insight Analysts and Programmers to learn and share audience insights that help to deliver on sponsorship KPIs and the wider CNN Digital audience development goals.
  • Ensure that stories are SEO optimized and built in a way that showcases the best of CNN’s sponsored content.
  • Partner with CNN’s on-air talent to produce and edit written features for CNN’s sponsored portfolio.
