Requirements
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, computer science, data science, information science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience, with the ability to operate and influence effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.
  • Demonstrated leadership, including the ability to develop direct reports and a track record of leading complex, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience integrating complex, cross-corporate processes and information strategies, and/or designing strategic metrics and scorecards.
  • The ability to communicate openly and honestly with colleagues and customers, take personal responsibility for the quality and content of work, and comply with applicable information confidentiality requirements.
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships by collaborating with customers and understanding and meeting their expectations.
  • Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across business lines at senior levels to influence and effect change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to sell ideas and processes internally at all levels.

Responsibilities
  • Lead core planning and performance management activities across budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic decision support, with a focus on cost of goods sold, supply chain performance, and enterprise initiatives.
  • Own the annual cost of goods sold planning process by setting timelines and targets and conducting pre- and post-analysis to support efficient operations.
  • Recommend input on financial forecasts and program planning.
  • Provide insights on risks and opportunities associated with analysis, budgeting, and forecasting by applying an in-depth understanding of corporate strategy and the external business environment.
  • Own the forecasting and budgeting process, develop key performance indicators, and transition to a rolling forecast.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including variances between actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Lead and recommend cost savings, productivity, process improvements, and supply chain enhancement opportunities by applying technical, analytical, and critical-thinking skills; generate insights, develop solutions, drive action, and assist in delivering results.
  • Analyze specific supply chain areas that are not generating expected results, partner with business leaders to estimate the financial performance of proposed programs, and help prioritize strategies and initiatives within each business area.
  • Identify potential risks and provide proactive solutions as key initiatives are implemented.
  • Challenge current practices, drive operational improvements, and identify new opportunities across business and functional areas.
  • Provide standard and ad hoc analysis and develop new ways to analyze the business.
  • Perform benchmarking, scenario analysis, and other financial modeling and analytical exercises to support or refute strategic hypotheses.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions activity through financial due diligence, valuation analysis, business case development, and integration planning to assess strategic fit and financial impact.
  • Build and maintain financial models, including scenario, sensitivity, and return on investment analyses, to evaluate investments, strategic initiatives, and acquisition opportunities.
  • Partner with senior leadership to translate complex analyses into recommendations supporting capital allocation, long-range planning, and transaction-related presentations.
  • Provide leadership and employee development and foster trust, openness, and collaboration within the financial planning and analysis team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing company is preferred.
  • SAP experience is a plus but not required.
