Requirements
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate student in physical sciences, engineering, computer science or related field.
  • Experience as a user of X-ray microscopes / Computed Tomography.
  • Ability to collate and present research results to a wide group, both in presentation and report formats.
  • Self-starter within the scope of the research project, seeking help and support where needed, to maximize the impact of the time at XRM.
Responsibilities
  • Engage in an X-ray microscopy image reconstruction project with the support of ZEISS XRM research scientists and software engineers.
  • Communicate algorithms evaluation results and findings to the wider XRM group.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in one or more of the following fields a plus: tomographic reconstruction, AI / Machine Learning, image processing / analysis, computer vision, or other research fields related to X-ray microscopy.
  • Experience with ZEISS X-ray microscopes is a plus.
