Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years of experience in software development; OR 5+ years in relevant production development experience.
  • Advanced knowledge in one of the following with some familiarity of others: C++, Rust, Python, Java, C#
  • Experience designing and building high performance and extensible applications or services
  • Familiarity with containerization and deployment technologies like Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with continuous integration
  • Tenacious drive to find, fix and prevent issues through automated observability and detection
  • Track record of planning and delivering projects on time to meet team objectives
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement software for hardware-in-the-loop test software infrastructure, hardware-out-of-the-loop test software infrastructure, vehicle proxy, vehicle configuration, and vehicle software deployment
  • Build systems that tie together the functions and interactions of all parts of the rocket, and provide the ability to rapidly iterate on designs
  • Own modules of the team’s systems, work as a cross-functional member of the team on all systems, and bring ideas to improve technology and development processes
  • Configure and test simulated and actual hardware, gain insights to improve features, reliability, scalability, and extensibility
