Why we’re hiring:
WPP Connect are looking for an experienced Audio Visual & Events engineer to support the WPP Group with Online Events, site conferences, support and monitoring of the Global Poly video conference estate.
The WPP Connect Team, positioned in London, Singapore and New York, support the WPP companies on a 24 hour follow the sun basis, passing support and tasks through the support regions.
You will be responsible for the daily operation; setup, monitor and produce online meetings, Events and Webinars, using MS Teams platforms, BlueJeans, Zoom. On occasion working with local AV support teams to setup AV hardware such as microphones, cameras and lighting when needed.
The role will also include monitoring our global Poly/Pexip video conference rooms. Troubleshooting any software/hardware/network issues and work with supporting partners to resolve.
What you’ll be doing:
- Monitor and manage the helpdesk support requests, action or assign. Typical requests for Event advise, setup and monitoring, Poly endpoint integration or troubleshooting
- Respond to assigned support tickets
- Perform regular check on c-suite meeting rooms/spaces
- Assist with new equipment/software evaluations, system design
- Software patching on Poly, Cisco and Logi hardware
What you’ll need:
- Troubleshoot AV/UC hardware/software calmly, efficiently, and often independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies as they emerge
- Live broadcast video/audio operation experience
- Video/audio editing and post-production experience
- MS Teams, MS Teams Live Event, BlueJeans Events production
- Poly endpoint setup and system management
- Poly Lens portal administration
- Logi Sync portal administration
