Requirements
  • A Master's degree and 10+ years of marketing experience are required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in global strategic marketing or commercial roles, including at least 3 years of in-market and/or regional commercial leadership experience, are required.
  • Global brand launch and commercialization expertise, particularly for pipeline products and late-stage assets with multiple indications, is required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of launch and commercialization strategies for key global and priority markets and regions.
  • Build an integrated global indication brand strategy that addresses short- and long-term brand and franchise impacts and aligns cross-functional, regional, and country perspectives.
  • Evolve the target patient profile using market insights to inform brand positioning and address patient and healthcare professional needs.
  • Lead the insight-driven development of branding, messaging, and market activation strategies.
  • Drive development of the global launch campaign with key market stakeholders.
  • Identify strategic partnerships and collaborations to establish and enhance brand and market position.
  • Lead the cross-functional Indication Commercialization Team, which defines commercial product strategy throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Foster ongoing insights development through internal and external collaboration to support data-driven brand decisions.
  • Represent the Indication Commercialization Team on the Indication Development Team and work with Clinical Science and Development colleagues to inform development strategy and evidence-generation efforts.
  • Partner with Market Access and Pricing teams to optimize reimbursement strategies and support global market entry.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, the competitive landscape, and industry developments to inform brand strategy adjustments.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and build relationships with key opinion leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Manage the global commercial budget and allocate resources to maximize brand impact.
  • Ensure strategies and business assumptions are executable at in-market and above-market levels and align with corporate priorities and cultural pillars.
  • Develop and communicate strategic options to optimize trade-offs while balancing risk and global value considerations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of autoimmune and rare diseases, with experience in Rheumatology or other Immunology therapeutic areas.
  • Deep understanding of the legal, regulatory, and commercial environment across major global markets, including the United States, European Union, and Japan.
  • United States in-market commercial launch experience.
  • Ability to lead and execute integrated, cross-functional commercialization strategies.
  • Experience leading teams in a matrixed environment while ensuring strategic and executional alignment and supporting team-based co-creation and decision-making.
  • Strong agency management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize market insights and make objective, data-driven decisions.
  • Expertise in market access, pricing, and reimbursement strategies across global markets.

This new agreement builds on the existing strategic research and innovation partnership between Monash and argenx from earlier this year and demonstrates both organisations' commitment to advancing novel scientific research in the interest of patients. In 2022 Myostellar received $500,000 through the inaugural funding round of Brandon Biocatalyst's CUREator program, Australia's national biotechnology incubator, to support the development of regenerative therapies for muscular dystrophies, alongside investment from Monash Investment Holdings. In 2025, it was one of the inaugural recipients of the Monash Ventures Pre-Seed Fund, a $15 million initiative developed by Monash University in partnership with Breakthrough Victoria.
