Requirements
  • You have a post-secondary degree in a relevant field and/or equivalent business experience
  • You have 2 or more years of experience working in a Business Analyst (or similar) role
  • You are a communications champion, with experience working with people of varying technical backgrounds
  • You have the ability and knowledge of bridging business needs with the appropriate IT systems
  • You excel at breaking down processes, documenting them and understanding their objectives
  • You are a driven self-starter with the willingness to see things through to the end
  • You have people skills that allow you to cultivate and manage relationships with key partners of the business
  • You know how to influence people, and enjoy being a member of a team that leads new initiatives
  • You have moderate to advanced Excel skills
  • You have worked within a technical support environment

Responsibilities
  • Developing Governance protocols for managing and issuing application licenses
  • Identifying business units within the company that can be engaged to improve their toolsets
  • Communicating with almost all business units at Arc’teryx about best practices regarding utilizing the tools we manage
  • Developing workflows within existing collaboration tools
  • Tracking and reporting costs + savings through license management efforts
  • Working with Finance and Procurement to track and improve pricing from vendors
  • Developing and communicating application licensing policies that can be implemented by the App Support Team
  • Working with software vendors to adjust our plans and licensing costs
  • Standing up and working within a Governing Body for the management of application licensing
  • Assisting in the implementation of new tools that we procure
  • Developing processes around application setup that adhere to budgeting, legal and procurement policies
  • Representing the Business Application Operations team in cross-functional projects
  • Researching new tools and technologies in the marketplace
  • Meeting directly with team leaders to share available tools and match requirements to solution capabilities
