- B.S. required
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree. No experience required with a Master's degree
- Proficient in basic laboratory skills and the use of complex laboratory equipment such as thermocyclers
- Read and understand all assigned QMS documents
- Follow GLP guidelines in documenting all work
- Follows work instructions and test protocols and properly document work forms as per Good Laboratory Practices
- May update documents and submit deviations and DCO's
- Writes lab notebook experimental reports with minimal supervision
- Writes QMS test reports with supervision
- Compile data and results then plan the next experiment with the guidance of a senior level team member
- Plan and execute specific laboratory experiments with some guidance
- Prepare and deliver presentations as needed
- Is observant when running experiments. May be responsible for some troubleshooting
- May be shadowed by new team members while conducting laboratory experiments as needed
- May provide data and/or present information to external partners. Also, may participate in seminars and scientific conferences
- Keep work areas clean and organized. Participate in laboratory decontamination efforts
- Other duties as assigned
