Requirements
  • 2–3+ years of experience in a destination management company or a related field is listed as a nice-to-have.
  • Ability to independently manage smaller-scale proposal development.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent proposals, typically 3–5 proposals of varying scale.
  • Ability to use prioritization, time-blocking, and proactive communication to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to last-minute changes, client pivots, and evolving project needs while maintaining quality.
  • Ability to assess workload and constraints and develop realistic solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and national teams on timelines, deliverables, and vendor responses.
Responsibilities
  • Apply creative tools and platforms to enhance visual storytelling, modify imagery, and support proposal development.
  • Contribute to content conceptualization and lead smaller-scale proposals while collaborating with Creative Managers on larger programs.
  • Own asset-based projects such as Destination and Dine Around Guides.
  • Use Pinterest, BizBash, and PartySlate to craft concepts that drive engagement and differentiate Access in the market.
  • Create statements of work, negotiate with vendors, and resolve client budget challenges.
  • Build gross profit strategies by incorporating transportation logistics and value-padding tactics.
  • Manage pricing sheets, source quotes, and integrate accurate statements of work while factoring in concessions and commissions.
  • Build and maintain dashboards tracking vendor activity, data accuracy, and project progress.
  • Initiate and manage vendor relationships through account setup, vetting, and ongoing Salesforce updates.
  • Strengthen supplier partnerships by sharing creative insights, maintaining visibility on vendor capabilities, and identifying collaboration opportunities.
  • Source and evaluate new vendors with innovative or destination-specific offerings.
  • Represent Access at tradeshows and industry events to identify emerging trends, expand supplier networks, and inform sourcing decisions.
  • Align design, pricing, and delivery with program goals and client objectives.
  • Partner with Creative Managers and Sales to align creative and pricing decisions with cohesive, goal-driven storytelling.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regional preferences, and design innovations.
  • Reference past proposals and ensure creative concepts align with project scope, goals, and budget.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Sales, and Events teams to plan and execute large-scale programs.
  • Lead logistical preparation and support site visits throughout project execution.
  • Share feedback, seek learning opportunities, and apply insights to improve performance.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners and national teams to align timelines, deliverables, and vendor responses.
  • Resolve issues through teamwork, critical thinking, and sound judgment.
  • Complete required training and certification.
  • Meet or exceed gross profit goals, revenue targets, and average invoice targets.
