Requirements
  • Two years of experience teaching in preschool is required.
  • Japanese fluency is required.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and teach a developmentally appropriate course of study, differentiating instruction and using assessments effectively.

  • Communicate with parents through individualized emails, newsletters, or blogs.
  • Share evaluations, grades, and homework assignments with parents.
  • Engage students in learning through a student-centered classroom.
  • Use technology for class preparation and instruction without relying solely on it.

  • Use positive reinforcement and manage discipline and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct classes with integrity and model appropriate behavior for students.

  • Supervise students during recess, lunch, field trips, and other activities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of curriculum and instructional methods.

  • Participate actively in grade-level and faculty meetings.
  • Contribute positively to the school community.
