Legend Biotech is seeking Senior Manager, Investor Relations as part of the Finance team based in Somerset, New Jersey.

Role Overview

Investor relations (IR) is a strategic management responsibility that is capable of integrating finance, communication, marketing and securities law compliance to enable the most effective two-way communication between a company, the financial community, and other constituencies, which ultimately contributes to a company’s securities achieving fair valuation. 

The candidate will work closely with the Head of Investor Relations and Public Relations in managing expectations with the investment community. The candidate should be able to work independently with our internal partners (i.e. business function heads).

Key Responsibilities  

• Work with key internal stakeholders to strategize external messaging.
• Handle internal Investor Relations related efforts, in charge of the approval process with CC RC for investor relations related materials, help organize disclosure committee meetings.
• Develop and maintain financial model for the company and street consensus.
• Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior, provide insights on market activity.
• Support investor event executions.
• Help support earnings call preparation and set up earnings call infrastructure.
• Arrange logistics for investor meetings and major medical or investor conferences.
• Assist Head of IR in answering and gathering information to responds to investors’ inquires. 
• Prepare SEC filings such as 6K and 20F.
• Assist in Genscript disclosure and coordination with Janssen.
• Develop ESG framework and reporting.
• Prepare investor materials such as updating centralized FAQ, preparing scripts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably business administration, finance, or communications.
• A minimum 3 year relevant work experience in investment banking/equity research/corporate communications role.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications, especially good at EXCEL, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of financial modeling techniques and valuation methods.
• A strong understanding of capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the biopharma industry.
• Good team player.
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal.
• Able to perform in a high-pressure environment, and be able to meet tight deadlines.
