Requirements
  • Experience with routing and switching protocols, including BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, or L3VPNs
  • Experience with Tier II or III network troubleshooting
  • Experience deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multivendor network equipment and solutions, including Cisco or Juniper
  • Experience with classified networks
  • Experience with network management and monitoring
  • Experience implementing and managing multi-vendor firewalls, including Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, or Versa Networks
  • Ability to provide on-call support on a monthly basis
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Experience with AWS or Azure Cloud networking
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or JNCP Certification
Responsibilities
  • Lead the operations and maintenance of an industry leading Zero Trust deployment within the DoD.
  • Assume responsibility for interfacing with SASE, SD-WAN, application security, and cyber operations technologies.
  • Work with SMEs, vendors, government leads, and Booz Allen colleagues to monitor and resolve network incidents.
  • Apply advanced consulting skills to brief senior leadership to provide them with awareness of current and resolved incidents.
