  • An unrestricted Illinois medical license and federal Drug Enforcement Administration registration are required before the start date.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease is required.
  • A clinical doctorate is required.
  • Competence in delivering healthcare services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients is required.
  • A physician license in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • A controlled substance license for the state and federal Drug Enforcement Administration registration must be maintained when applicable to the specialty.
  • Successful completion of, or current enrollment in, an accredited residency program is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced cardiac imaging care to patients with complex cardiac conditions.
  • Collaborate with general, interventional, and structural cardiologists, electrophysiology providers, surgeons, and other members of the care team.
  • Deliver healthcare services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Participate in the clinical research program and use advanced cardiac imaging equipment and technology.
