  • 5+ years experience building strategy and managing core social channels (specifically TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) at a media company.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing engaging and innovative social media strategies and growing engaged audiences on organic social channels (ability to quantify impact).
  • You dominate internet culture and know what's trending on top social platforms.
  • Experience understanding data and insights to drive learning.
  • Experience running several campaigns at once with an aptitude for being flexible and problem-solving on the fly.
  • Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles (Office located in Beverly Hills).
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of organic social content and publishing strategy for TikTok, one of our fastest-growing priority platforms, with the opportunity to have a substantial impact on the business.
  • Content development ownership of Evergreen & Catalog content - Partner with creative teams to produce engaging content from our incredible library of classes featuring the world's best.
  • Calendar Development: Oversee the social publishing calendar and collaborate with our agency partner to ensure that all content is being put on the right platform at the right time for the right audience.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Represent social marketing in cross-functional interactions with essential team members and high-visibility partners, including Brand Marketing, Consumer Marketing, Comms, Creative, Performance Marketing, Talent, Content, and Production.
  • Reporting: Present social marketing strategy, creative concepts, and performance results to internal partners and external teams (agencies and talent teams.)
  • Shoot coverage: Attend shoots or events when necessary to capture content and post real-time event coverage.
  • Cultural Connectivity: Identify relevant and significant ways for MasterClass to participate in culture and fan conversations.
  • Advisor & Consultant: Act as a social authority and trusted advisor in critical areas, ranging from genre expert to knowledge on the latest TikTok trend.
