  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (Electrical Systems focus) from an ABET accredited program required by hire date (anticipated graduation in Spring 2025).
  • Related student internship work experience preferred.
  • EIT/FE preferred.
  • Must have strong communication, teamwork, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit, Navisworks or similar applications) preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Under supervision, design lighting, power distribution, communication systems and/or telecommunications systems, and fire alarm systems.
  • Under supervision, prepare technical design documentation.
  • Assist in the review and markup of shop drawing submittals.
  • Produce quality drawings following red lines and verbal instructions.
  • Recommend ways to improve process, quality, and coordination efforts.
  • Apply basic understanding of National Electrical Code, chapters 2 and 3.
  • May visit job site to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress. Site visits frequently require a physical walk-through of site.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
