  • BS degree in an Engineering discipline, Business Administration or related field
  • 5+ years of working experience in direct materials for new and existing products
  • Experience with manufacturing processes for mechanical components, contract manufacturing, OEM, or electro-mechanical components
  • Experience in supplier negotiations, contract development, and make vs. buy decisions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of buying, material planning, master scheduling, and forecasting
  • Certifications such as CPSM, CPIM, and/or PMP are a plus
  • Experience working with engineers and manufacturing personnel
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office products and ERP systems
  • Basic understanding of data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of Cost of Goods Sold (COGs) and cost levers
Responsibilities
  • Help with supplier identification and selection for all commodities required to manufacture Procept products
  • Act as primary liaison between Supply Chain organization and internal and external partners
  • Analyze, track, organize, and present cost-related data
  • Negotiate Supply Agreements with suppliers
  • Drive projects to manage supply chain risk and reduce supply continuity risk
  • Support Bill of Materials (BOM) cost reduction targets
  • Conduct RFQ and RFI, negotiate prices and terms of purchase
  • Participate in supplier quarterly reviews
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement of business processes
  • Adhere to EHS Policy and Quality Management System
