Requirements
  • BS in Computer Science and/or 10+ related work experience in IT.
  • 2+ years of engineering/architecture experience designing and deploying solutions including automation.
  • 3+ years supporting a large-scale environment (5,000+ user base)
  • 6+ years of experience performing Office 365 administration and support including tenant administration, email, chat, and meeting technologies.
  • 4+ years of experience with Exchange Online, Microsoft Exchange Server, and Microsoft Outlook
  • 4+ years of experience supporting Email Security solutions such as Cisco Ironport, Defender for Office 365, or Proofpoint.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting collaboration solutions including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business. 2+ years of experience with proxy authentication solutions such as ADFS, Entra, or OKTA.
  • 2+ years of experience with security and compliance solutions such as Microsoft 365 Defender and Microsoft Purview.
  • 6+ years of experience using PowerShell. Other scripting skills such as VBScript and python are helpful for automating processes and reporting.
  • Proficient with infrastructure and networking fundamentals such as including SMTP, Active Directory, Servers, databases, DNS, Certificates, TCP/IP, Firewalls, and Load Balancer.
  • Proficient with infrastructure and networking skills for designing and supporting collaboration and productivity solutions including, but not limited to, SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, Active Directory, Windows Server, SQL databases, DNS, Certificates, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Identity Proxy solutions, and basic networking protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures that our collaboration and productivity solutions, including Office 365, are running smoothly by managing, monitoring, and maintaining applications, services, and support resources.
  • Applies technical and security best practices to guarantee the optimal performance of our solution and security of our data and systems.
  • Participates in projects of varying complexity including service deployments, data migrations for acquisitions and divestitures, and application tech refresh. Deploys and supports new collaboration and productivity services and capabilities.
  • Participates in the build-to-run transition of applications or process improvements across the team.
  • Ensures the security and performance of our collaboration and productivity environments by conducting regular audits, stays current on security threats, and educates our team and business associates about best practices for using our solutions.
  • Resolves technical issues impacting our products and services.
  • Coordinates with team members, IT teams, and application vendors for developing solutions or team processes and troubleshooting applications.
  • Creates and updates operational documentation including architectural diagrams and standard operating procedures.
  • Participates in rotating 24x7 on-call support operation.
  • Stays current on new technologies and capabilities as it relates to the position.
  • Mentors and transfers knowledge to junior team members.
