About the team
The Supply Chain Operations team is focused on supporting the broader Supply Chain organization with portfolio management, centralized issue resolution and supporting initiatives that are critical to drive the business forward.
Job Summary:
The Senior Analyst is the primary point of contact responsible for a simple and seamless experience within the Supply Chain organization. This role manages troubleshooting/error resolution and maintains awareness of all business activities to drive a consistent level of business readiness. This role will be responsible for delivering top-tier customer service to all Lowe's Supply Chain associates and will be held accountable to exceptional customer service & will serve as a bridge between the multiple teams to fix issues. Functions of this role Involve Ticket Management and building relationships with within Supply Chain and other key cross-functional stakeholders within Lowe’s.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:
- Responsible for proactively identifying and fixing the issue.
- Partners with the right teams for any issues needing resolution.
- Responsible for understanding the supply chain process and causes/reasons for issues that arise.
- Responsible for troubleshooting all Supplier issues with respect to item set up process and system issues
- Consultant for various process queries
- Partners with cross-functional teams in stabilizing and streamlining the process and maintaining the documents like SOP, process updates and help the team/team members in maintaining trackers.
- Responsible for auditing team member’s work and report accuracy percentage.
- Understand and develop business case for all Supply Chain issues by collaborating with cross-functional teams to in order to streamline process.
- Establish, maintain, and communicate metrics regarding volumes, SLA’s and Escalations that provides clear visibility to leadership.
- Manages work allocation & escalation process for the team.
- Serves as a subject matter expert for all internal or external initiatives.
- Executes all formal processes and identifies process improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with team to plan, prioritize, execute activities that run the business.
- Coach, train, and help new joiner onboarding.
Years of Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Supply Chain Operations, preferably in retail.
- 4+ years of Retail experience.
- 2+ years in Supply Chain issue management
- 1+ years in project management
Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering / Supply Chain Management or related field.
- MBA or master’s degree in supply chain would be a plus.
Skill Set Required
Primary Skills (must have)
- Experience in Supply Chain Management within the Retail industry.
- Familiar with Inventory Management, Planning, Forecasting, and Transportation processes and systems.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents for presentation to management.
- Problem Solving – ability to leverage data, information & visuals to solve business problems.
- Strategic, critical, and thought leader to develop & deliver on a roapmap.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Experience of working in dynamic, fast changing environment.
- Strong organization, analytical, and customer service skills
- Working cross teams, partnering with various teams to understand upstream & downstream process.
- Understand gaps in the process and work towards mitigating it by streamlining process.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Moderate to Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to communicate & prioritize effectively in demanding situations.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents for presentation to management.
Secondary Skills (desired)
- Basics of data mining & visualization skills such as SQL & PowerBI
