Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required
  • 0-1 year (Specialist) / 1-3 years (Analyst)/ 3-5 years (Analyst 2) progressive Marketing and Sales experience
  • Working knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, or mainframe applications to produce non-standard, creative products
  • Ability to function effectively and remain productive in an office environment

Responsibilities
  • Provides support to assigned region to develop, design, execute and meet regional marketing, digital, sales and profitability objectives for vehicles within assigned region
  • In coordination with agencies, supports regional efforts in formulating effective media and marketing plans to drive dealer sales and enhance brand value under constantly changing conditions
  • Assists in coordination of lead management activities, including support activities for Digital Health Assessments and tracking and reporting of digital sales performance
  • Provides requested data and reporting from multiple sources; understanding their meaning, relationships and impact
  • Analyzes and interprets data; compiles ideas on best practices and shares with regional leadership team
  • Assists with tracking progress of marketing and lead management action plans
  • Serves as a point of contact for field staff and dealerships on reward program rules, effective dates, payments, etc.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience at the specialist level in Consumer Affairs, Sales Operations, Distribution, Market Representation or Marketing is preferred
  • Previous sales or dealership contact experience is a plus

Nissan Layoffs: Company To Slash Another 11,000 Jobs, Close 7 Plants

Nissan on May 13 announced sweeping cuts across the company with plans to lay off another 11,000 employees and close more than a half-dozen plants across the globe.The latest cuts bring the carmaker's total workforce reduction to roughly 20,000 jobs, which accounts for 15% of the Japan-based automakers workforce, according to Reuters and The Associated Press.Following a whirlwind year, the company announced it would also close seven plants, Reuters reported. The move will cut the number of its production plants from 17 to 10.It was not immediately clear which positions were being slashed and which plants were shuttering.USA TODAY has reached out to Nissan.Financial results a 'wake-up call,' CEO saysNissan employs more than 133,000 people worldwide, according to Nissan's Global website, with about 21,000 people, including manufacturing employees, in the United States.The new layoffs will bring Nissan's total workforce cuts to about 20,000 jobs. Last year, the automaker announced plans to cut 9,000 workers and previously announced nixing plans to build a plant in Japan.Newly named Nissan CEO Ivan Espinosa has rekindled optimism at the automaker."As you can see, our full-year financial results are a wake-up call," newly named CEO Ivan Espinosa said during a press conference, according to Reuters and The Japan Times.
