About the Role
As the Retail Success & Insights Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Grocery & Retail business. This role is essential in building strong, data-driven relationships with our retail partners by defining reporting insights requirements, supporting the development of retailer insights, and serving as a central liaison for insights best practices across global partner management teams. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including partner managers, data analytics and engineering, and product to enable partner expansion and drive the success of our retail ecosystem.
This role will report to the Head of Global Strategy & Planning, positioning you at the center of our global efforts to shape and drive the success of our grocery and retail business.

What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with retail partners and partner management teams to define retail reporting and insights requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Develop toolkits and resources to help partner managers drive actionable insights for key merchants across critical topics, such as industry trends, customer insights, basket and category growth, ROI, demand forecasting, and more.
- Partner with data analytics and engineering teams to support the development of comprehensive retailer insights, turning data into actionable strategies.
- Work closely with product teams to align insights with product development, ensuring that our retail solutions meet partner needs and drive growth.
- Serve as the central liaison for insights best practices, ensuring global partner management teams have the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
- Define and execute retail partnership strategies, enabling partner expansion and long-term growth.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive strategic initiatives and support the global retail success roadmap.
- Regularly engage with retail partners to present insights and recommendations that drive growth and optimize retail operations.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a data-driven role within retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods industries, with a focus on insights and strategy.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analytics, engineering, partner management, and product teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience in developing toolkits and resources for partner managers, covering topics like industry trends, customer insights, category growth, ROI, and demand forecasting.
- Experience in leading projects that involve multiple stakeholders across geographies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present insights to various levels of stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience working with global teams and managing insights across different markets.
- Strong understanding of SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Experience in developing and executing retail partnership strategies.
- Experience working closely with product teams to align insights with product development.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS) in a related field is a plus.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$152,000 per year - USD$169,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$152,000 per year - USD$169,000 per year.
