Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+1 yr)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience
  • 3 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
Responsibilities
  • Hire, develop, coach and train a team of Sales Representatives
  • Lead team to drive results in order to meet or exceed Alcon's sales, financial and territory management objectives
  • This will be accomplished through coaching conversations during co-travels and business reviews, conducting or ensuring adequate training and on-boarding new hires
  • Drive sales results through coaching on knowledge of the market, customers, competitors and Alcon product, sales skills, and prioritization of activities
  • Co-travel with representatives according to annual objectives (minimum requirement of 60% of time in field co-travels) including a coaching report to document KPI's, performance results, and indicated actions
  • Maximize Representative performance by tracking individual sales growth, collecting feedback from customers, monitoring call calendars and pre-booking of appointments, and monitoring call reports via sales reporting dashboards
  • Prepare for and conduct performance reviews
  • Facilitate career development and prepare Representatives for future jobs
  • Allocate resources and manage activities to maximize results
  • Analyze market opportunities and Alcon sales data (by channel and product) in order to provide strategic direction to Account Managers and Practice Experience Managers regarding the implementation of programs and resources
  • Use data sources as necessary to facilitate analysis and planning
