Requirements
  • Requires highest knowledge and mastery of multiple job areas typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Viewed as the leading expert and / or resource within the field by peers within and outside the organization.
  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A)
  • 15+ years of Quality and/or Reliability experience with a Bachelors Degree
  • 13+ years of Quality and/or Reliability experience with a Masters Degree
  • Reliability Engineering Test experience
  • Statistical analysis tools and techniques
  • Significant breadth and depth in quality decision making, risk management, quality engineering, reliability engineering, requirements generation & testing, experimental modeling & simulation.
  • Risk management experience in the medical device industry.
  • Pre-Market Quality experience.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross-functional key stakeholders to enhance rigor in product design and reliability.
  • An individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies.
  • Formulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results.
  • May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower-level professionals.
  • The majority of time is spent delivering R&D, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies – from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills.
  • Designs, develops, documents, tests, maintains, and debugs applications systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
  • Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers, software engineers, and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electro-mechanical systems.
  • Determines user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, system controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops test designs and systems.
