Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in a maintenance-related field, or a high school diploma/GED with 10 years of maintenance experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience working with control systems and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to support all production areas, multitask, work with minimal supervision, and collaborate within a maintenance and engineering team.
  • Ability to read, redline, and create electrical drawings.
  • Ability to lead projects or work groups, coordinate projects, communicate results, make sound decisions, and use problem-solving tools.
  • Ability to implement continuous improvement projects following change management procedures.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Program and troubleshoot control systems, including programmable logic controllers, servo drives, alternating-current drives, interface modules, direct-current drives, and human-machine interfaces.
  • Support Project Engineering with new equipment installations.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with mechanical repairs and preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
  • Serve as the shift lead and technical lead on the assigned shift.
  • Serve as the point person for electronics-related issues on the assigned shift and as an escalation point to junior technicians for technical challenges.
  • Support projects for the electronics group.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous lean manufacturing experience.
  • Mechanical background.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems, preferably MP2.
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers, including GE and Allen-Bradley systems.
  • Experience with servo controls, drives, and human-machine interfaces.
