Requirements
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • DoD 8570 Level 2 certified
  • Systems of Systems Integration experience (from a design/architecture perspective)
  • Excellent verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Senior level technical consulting experience including experience interfacing with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Extensive experience designing detailed full-stack platform solutions including trade studies, cost, schedule, and technical aspects
  • Curious self-starter that can excel in a prototyping environment to turn customer desire into executable solution candidates. Must be able to consider cost, schedule, technology, and risks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with most technologies appropriate for deployable open systems infrastructures, including most of the following: MOSA approaches, CI/CD, Commercial cloud (specifically AWS and Azure), hybrid cloud, edge cloud architectures, LINUX-based systems, Microsoft echo system including Azure and Azure Stack, Microservices/Containerization/Kubernetes & service mesh/routing, Modern network technologies (SDWAN, Leaf/Spine, WIFI, MANet/ROIP, SatComm, Starlink), CSfC Encryption, Cross-Domain solutions, Modern authorization / ICAM / Zero-Trust architectures, Data management/synchronization, DDIL and tactical system development, Familiarity with operational US military systems deployed into the tactical echelon, including specific familiarity with Tactical and strategic/back-haul voice and data communications, including Tactical Data Links, Sensor integration, Military Commercial cloud integration, Broad experience developing automated deployment and testing of complex systems using Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Rancher Kubernetes, People leadership experience; including mentoring, coaching, and building high performing Engineering teams.
Responsibilities
  • Work with stakeholders in a consortium environment to create prototype solutions for emerging problems.
  • Guide execution teams in deployment and integration of system enhancements.
  • Integrate solutions into both Cloud and on-premises labs.
  • Perform system design while ensuring MOSA compliance.
  • Perform trade studies including both technical and cost/schedule inputs.
  • Work across multiple teams and program leadership to understand problems and formulate solutions.

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Application development and deployment processes
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Kubernetes in DDIL environments.
  • Experience implementing Cloud Service Provider (AWS/Azure) services in DDIL environments.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Service Mesh environments.
  • Extensive Linux development experience
  • Experience with SAFe agile processes
  • Prior military or hands-on experience with tactical military IT systems in production use (e.g., exercises)
  • Familiarity with USAF operational and tactical CONOPS
  • Cameo or MagicGrid-based MBSE modelling
