- Familiarity with the post-trade life cycle of US equities, treasuries, futures, FX, and/or options
- Experience with external relationship management, including technology vendors, prime brokers, banks, etc
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Knowledge of UNIX operating systems is preferred (we use Linux)
- Some experience in Python is preferred, but eagerness to learn is required
- Excellent communication skills
- Oversee HRT's US self-clearing operational activities, including receive and deliver, buy-ins, securities lending operations, corporate actions, and moving cash to support settlements
- Review and action on all fail and buy-in risk
- Manage costs effectively around fails and settlements
- Oversee corporate actions through the settlement lifecycle
- Help manage external prime broker relationships from a clearing standpoint
- Collaborate with other HRT teams to identify opportunities for new and improved workflows and processes around US regulations related to operations
- Interface with external parties on open issues, ad-hoc queries, and reporting needs
- Document complex processes to develop clear Middle Office procedural guidelines
- Work independently in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
