  • Operating and supervising AI-powered robotsEvaluating irregularities of robot performance and performing quality assurance on data collection
  • Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on robot stations
  • Collecting and analyzing data on system performance and component performance
  • Building subassemblies for testing and validation
  • Assemble, wire, and test electromechanical assemblies
  • Organize, catalog, and curate robot-picking item sets
  • Package, inventory, and ship pick items or robot components to partners or other Covariant offices, manage shipping logistics
  • Watch video footage of robot operation and collect performance statistics
  • Assist with experimentation by running robot cells with different HW configurations or different software code branches
  • Synthesize data and write basic reports to share with the broader team
  • Follow written instructions to manually operate robots to calibrate vision systems and other robot cells parametersConduct performance analysis of in-house cells in order to make iterations and preparations for deployments
  • Perform various prototyping tasks in the machine shop
  • Provide feedback to engineering to improve designs
  • Maintain world-class lab and shop areas
  • Travel up to 10% to support system deployments
Desired Qualifications
  • AS level degree or higher in Industrial/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent
  • Programming experience in any language; python and ladder logic preferred
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as Solidworks, onshape, AutoCAD, etc
