Allworth Financial acquires Rochester wealth management firm. Allworth Financial has acquired High Falls Advisors Inc., a Rochester wealth management and tax advisory firm overseeing $665 million in assets under management. Allworth leaders said the deal expands the California-based financial services firm's presence in the Rochester market. The acquisition is also part of an accelerated growth strategy at Allworth, which has completed four acquisitions since announcing a strategic investment partnership earlier this year. The company said it has surpassed $40 billion in assets under management while expanding into key growth markets and adding specialized services to its national platform. Financial terms of the High Falls acquisition were not disclosed. High Falls Advisors brings 21 professionals to Allworth, including 12 advisors with credentials spanning certified financial planner, certified public accountant, attorney and enrolled agent designations. The firm also adds a CPA-led, in-house tax practice that is integrated into its wealth management and financial planning services. High Falls has investment strategies that include two private funds. High Falls is led by President and CEO Kenneth Burke and Jennifer Vogler, who acquired the firm from its founders in 2020 and have grown the business independently since. The acquisition will deepen Allworth's existing presence in Rochester, where it already operates an office. "As we grow, we want to offer more advanced solutions for our clients and create additional growth opportunities for our team. Allworth enhances our ability to do both," Burke said. "We are excited about the resources, expertise and opportunities that Allworth brings to our firm and, most important, to our clients." Allworth also announced the acquisition of Holistic Financial Partners, an Indianapolis-based registered investment adviser overseeing about $282 million in assets. The company said the acquisitions will provide additional resources and capabilities for clients while creating broader growth opportunities for employees across its organization.
