Requirements
  • Five or more years of related industrial experience, including planning, maintenance, and direct supervision.
  • Technical and managerial skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong decision-making and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to solve problems while exercising practical judgment and realistic understanding of the issues involved.
  • Working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience working in a foundry and union environment.
Responsibilities
  • Manage hourly union mobile equipment mechanics and scheduling to ensure work is planned and assigned to employees to meet plant needs.
  • Determine predictive maintenance activities, schedule work orders, and order materials and kit parts for maintenance projects throughout the plant.
  • Sustain and improve planning and procurement functions needed to efficiently sustain and improve plant equipment in accordance with safety, environmental, governmental, and company policies and regulations.
  • Work Monday through Friday on the day shift, with overtime as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • An Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school plus five to eight years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of aluminum processes.
