Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field plus 3 or more years of experience, or 5 or more years of experience without the degree.
- Proficiency with front-end technologies including JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and SASS.
- Experience with content management systems, preferably WordPress.
- Experience with server-side technologies including Node.js and Express.
- Experience with server-side rendering using isomorphic JavaScript.
- Strong proficiency with one or more modern JavaScript frameworks, including AngularJS, Backbone.js, or ReactJS.
- Strong proficiency with web-related protocols and architectures, including MVC, MVVM, REST, SOAP, JSON, and HTTP.
- Experience with workflow automation using Grunt or Gulp.
- Experience executing large-scale website launches from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and launch a new corporate website from the ground up.
- Work closely with design and business partners and with IT teams across Network, Infrastructure, and Web Engineering during the design and implementation phase.
- Follow and advocate for test-driven development patterns.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the website.
