Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Strong background in Wireless Communications
  • Knowledge of real-time implementation of complex DSP in hardware and software
  • Strong modelling skills using MATLAB, Python, and C/C++
  • Ability to partition design problems and define block-level hardware architectures
  • Good knowledge of VHDL
  • Competence with MS Office tools
  • Experience with FPGA development using VHDL
  • Understanding of Wireless Communications standards
  • Knowledge of VITA-49.2 protocols
  • Experience in project delivery
  • Experience in start-up environments and larger technical organizations
Responsibilities
  • Research and design of hardware realizable DSP algorithms
  • Development of models for testing algorithms
  • Development of floating and fixed point models in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++
  • Generating accurate documentation and design notes
  • Interacting with the design team
  • Partitioning design problems and defining block-level hardware architectures
  • Competence with MS Office tools
  • Experience with FPGA development and simulation
  • Understanding of Wireless Communications standards
  • Knowledge of VITA-49.2 protocols
  • Experience in project delivery
  • Experience in start-up environments and larger technical organizations
