Senior Logistics Consultant

What you’ll achieve
Lead the development of next-generation, large-scale AI Infrastructure fulfillment design and solutioning. Engage with high profile AI customers to develop logistics solutions for their applications. Work closely with freight network suppliers, CTO organization, and hardware engineering to enable the supply base to move at scale. Influence product design decisions to optimally integrate into the logistics networks. Develop financial and cost analytics on future technology opportunities and product deployments. Additionally, partner with Logistics Procurement and Operations to lead longer term supplier and category strategies.
You will:
Engage with logistics suppliers, packaging engineering, and field services on innovation in shipping, off-loading, and setup of racks to safely speed up deployment and improve quality.
- Integrate logistics optimization strategies into design guidelines for optimal data center deployments
- Engage with supplier base on future technology; identify and develop supply base’s technical capability for racks and modular data centers
- Develop return supply chain opportunities for large scale infrastructure deployments

Essential Requirements
- Deep knowledge and skill base in logistics models, freight suppliers, carrier networks
- Experience with large scale infrastructure logistics (data center deployments a plus), requirements for transit/network, etc.
- Working knowledge of requirements for data centers, large scale buildout of infrastructure
- Mechanical / Packaging design experience optional
- Experience with security requirements for high value shipments
- Understanding of environmental / return / reuse requirements for reverse supply chain
Desirable Requirements
- 10+ years industry experience with bachelor’s degree or equivalent skill
Compensation: Dell is committed to Fair and Equitable compensation practices. The Base Salary Range for this role is $123,000 - $182,000.
