Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience
- You have exceptional design skills and a commitment to exploring the latest trends, and love experimenting with style, tone, color, and fonts
- You have experience designing print and/or digital content for organizations or brands
- You have experience creating effective social-first design content
- You have experience creating effective compelling digital and print ad content for paid distribution
- You have experience creating print design collateral, including signs, buttons, stickers, palm cards, t-shirts, etc
- You have experience guiding the creative ideation, production, and review processes for products of all shapes and sizes
- You have experience clipping and captioning video
- You're organized, detail-oriented, and analytical
- You're an expert in Adobe Creative Cloud programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign, or other graphic design tools
- You are proficient in Adobe After Effects or Premiere
- You are comfortable taking on evolving responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment
Responsibilities
- Serve as a creative lead, creating and managing processes for the development and approval of creative assets
- Collaborate with the digital content team to develop concepts for creative assets across social platforms and bring those concepts to life
- Partner with the paid media team to develop visual ad assets for multiple platforms that help meet campaign goals
- Respond quickly to breaking news environments with visually arresting content
- Brainstorm new approaches to creative products, whether that's a new style or type of design asset
- Work with the Creative Director to develop the look and feel of the organization's various campaigns, creating unique campaign brand visuals and design assets for those campaigns
- Track and share information about the latest trends and tools in the design and video world and lead integrating those ideas into our work
- Manage vendors, freelancers, and tools integrated into our creative work for our campaigns and organizational digital infrastructure
- Cut and produce rapid-response videos for campaigns to meet the moment and elevate key messages in the news cycle, including clipping from TV and pulling archival video
- Help develop processes that keep our products and team effective and impactful
- Capture photographs of events, occasionally requiring travel
- Perform other duties as assigned
