As a Financial Controller, you will be in charge of

preparing the Company’s Financial reports,
assisting in Compliance Audits,
monitoring internal controls,
managing Payroll and reviewing tax topics.

You will manage a team of 15 people, split into different departments (Administrative, Payroll, Invoicing, AP/GL)

Responsibilities

Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R and Revenue recognition, A/P, GL, from both a General and Analytical accounting point of view, for a multi-BU / multi subsidiaries environment
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
Research technical accounting issues for compliance
Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings, with the support of an External Tax advisor
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Additional controller duties as necessary

Requirements and skills

Proven working experience as a Financial Controller, with thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
8+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience, having already managed large teams
Advanced degree in Accounting, CPA or CMA preferred
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
Extremely structured and organized
Having worked into a multi–Business Units / multi Subsidiaries environment
Financial Audit / Advisory experience preferred
