Architectural Designer – Kalamazoo, Michigan

DISHER is currently partnering with an experiential design firm in Kalamazoo, Michigan and Grand Rapids, MI that is passionate about creating spaces highly designed for experience. They use the power of design in the areas of Architecture, Interior design, and graphic design to help people live more fulfilled lives. As the Architectural Designer, you will help challenge the team to grow and will bring passion to the pursuit of utilizing design as a powerful tool to celebrate stories for those they engage with.

What you’ll get to do:

Learn about how to create places for people to be great and be equipped with the tools to jump in and help a team
Help challenge the team to grow and achieve more each day as you learn and develop
Mentored by partners, project managers, and other members of the Architect team
Work on a wide range of project types within Michigan, and nationally for clients
Interfacing with clients for a project meeting
Partner on current projects with the firm – role player, working under a project manager, part of a team

What will make you successful:

2+ years of experience working in an architectural firm on projects that require creativity
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
Experience utilizing Revit or Arc E CAD
Natural leadership and solid communication skills
Fearless, driven, curious and people-oriented
Willingness to take constructive criticism and grow
Passion for interior design and architecture
Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations
