Microelectronics Product Engineer

Key Role:

Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. Employ knowledge of electrical theory and materials properties. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise with full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience qualifying new advanced technologies or new product introductions

• Experience with semiconductor test, wafer, or package level

• Experience in yield analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and data analysis

• Experience with process control monitors (PCMs)

• Experience assessing product maturity, quality, and reliability

• Experience with semiconductor packaging

• Experience working with foundries or OSATs

• Knowledge of digital circuit design

• Knowledge of semiconductor processing and integration

• Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in advanced packaging, such as copper pillar micro-bumping, hybrid bonding, interposer assembly, or thermocompression bonding

• Experience with high-speed digital I/O

• Experience in BEOL process development, such as CMP and TSVs

• Experience in bring-up firmware or software

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
