Analyst / Senior Analyst, Data (Remote) @ Newfront Insurance

We are looking for a sharp analyst to join our Data team, bringing an independent and curious mindset to partner with cross-functional teams to understand and add value by leveraging our growing data assets. The role reports to the Head of Data.

This position is open to remote candidates with Pacific Time Zone preferred. #LI-Remote

Job Responsibilities

Build + maintain centralized KPIs, metrics, reporting, models, analyses for cross-functional partners, executives, and board of directors
Partner with business leaders to gain deep understanding of domain expertise and enable data-driven decision making
Partner with our analytics and data engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and rectify data integrity issues across our reporting, data infrastructure, dashboards

Requirements

2+ years of analytics experience
Ability to communicate sophisticated data concepts to a broad range of audiences
Motivated to independently drive analytics initiatives from end-to-end, from ideation to visualization to storytelling
A clear passion for staying up-to-date with and learning new data engineering and analytics skills independently and continuously.
Experience with modern ELT and BI tools (e.g. Tableau).
Strong SQL skills.
Curiosity and enthusiasm for digging deep into messy data and extracting the useful parts.
