Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to align enterprise architecture with mission-critical objectives.
Design detailed architectural plans for integrating new technologies and processes into existing systems.
Ensure interoperability between legacy and modern systems while maintaining optimal performance and security.
Monitor the performance of enterprise systems to identify optimization opportunities, cost-saving measures, and areas for enhancement.
Conduct capacity planning to ensure the IT infrastructure can adapt to evolving mission needs.
Work with development teams to ensure that all systems and applications adhere to DoD security standards and regulations, particularly within classified environments.
Implement enterprise-wide security controls aligned with RMF, DISA STIG, and NIST 800-53 frameworks.
Lead efforts to document the enterprise architecture, ensuring all systems, processes, and integrations are properly recorded.
Maintain comprehensive records for use in future architectural planning and operational continuity.
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to ensure the IT infrastructure remains cutting-edge and capable of meeting future mission requirements.
Make strategic recommendations to leadership on technology adoption and modernization initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Must possess one one of the following certifications: TOGAF Certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems engineering, or related fields, with demonstrated leadership in large-scale IT projects Or 10+ years of prior relevant experience with a Master’s degree.
Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-wide architectural frameworks in secure and complex environments.
Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, Zachman, or DoDAF.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Must possess a Top Secret (TS) clearance.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align enterprise architecture with program objectives.
Strong communication and leadership skills to articulate architectural strategies and lead diverse technical teams.
Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Security certifications, such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or CCSP.
Familiarity with USSOCOM’s operational requirements and the SOF Information Environment (SIE).
Previous experience supporting DoD programs, ensuring alignment with strict security and compliance mandates.
Deep understanding of enterprise data management, cloud-native architectures, and microservices frameworks.
Experience integrating AI/ML technologies and advanced analytics into enterprise architectures.
Proven ability to evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance operational capabilities.
Experience developing roadmaps and strategies for IT modernization and transformation.
Strong ability to document enterprise architecture processes and systems for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Experience training and mentoring junior architects and engineering teams on architectural frameworks and best practices.
