Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Communication Disorders or related field or the equivalent knowledge or experience is preferred
  • A minimum of two years related work experience and a minimum of one year of clinical experience in Audiology are preferred
  • Clinical experience working with infants and their families is also preferred
  • Must be a Notary Public or become a Notary Public within three (3) months of employment
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
Responsibilities
  • Under general supervision of the Manager, Patient Care or designee and clinical supervision and direction of a licensed Audiologist perform a variety of duties including but not limited to administer universal hearing screenings as part of the routine newborn care, document results of these screenings, etc.
  • Assist in compiling database of all screening results and enter all screening results into Electronic Birth Certificate (EBC) and update EBC as needed.
  • Responsible for the coordination of the per diem hearing screeners taking into consideration weekend, vacation, holiday coverage and sick calls
