  • Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field and 12 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Requires 12 months of experience involving the following:
  • 1. Monitoring and debugging test failures;
  • 2. Test bench development;
  • 3. Test/verification plan creation;
  • 4. Defect monitoring, characterization, and root cause analysis;
  • 5. Reviewing equipment designs;
  • 6. Data analysis;
  • 7. Quality/warranty investigation;
  • 8. Equipment troubleshooting;
  • 9. Training, planning and documentation;
  • 10. Repair/rebuild; and
  • 11. Capacity planning, improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure equipment and systems are running effectively and/or respond to failure, maintenance needs, and quality issues.
  • Gather data and input it into relevant SAS systems, monitor trends by observing change points and following escalation plans as needed.
  • Operate and retrieve data from equipment, and follow detailed scripts to perform troubleshooting;
  • Perform change point management task set;
  • Disposition lots, identify the critical failures that imply bigger problems, and fix those problems or document and escalate;
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts;
  • Support equipment and process matching projects to support new device vertical ramp;
  • Own a critical module of the process flow: investigate quality issues, improve process margins, and maintain high level of process control.
