Westgate Resorts celebrates $28 million investment at Westgate Branson Woods Resort with new attractions and future Water Park to open in 2027.

Westgate Resorts celebrates $28 million investment at Westgate Branson Woods Resort with new attractions and future Water Park to open in 2027. GlobeNewswire | Westgate Resorts Today at 9:36am PDT BRANSON, Mo., May 18, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Westgate Resorts today announced the opening of two new family-friendly attractions at Westgate Branson Woods Resort and the groundbreaking of a new resort water park. The announcements are part of more than $28 million in investments made at the resort, including new amenities and extensive room renovations. Now open, Bear Trail Mini Golf offers guests an immersive, nature-inspired course designed for all ages, while the Ozark Fun House Experience introduces a dynamic indoor entertainment destination featuring interactive games, creative spaces, and hands-on activities for families. Together, the new attractions expand the resort's on-property experiences and provide new ways for guests to play, explore, and reconnect. Westgate also commemorated the groundbreaking of River Country Water Park, an exciting new addition scheduled to open in late 2027. Once completed, the water park will significantly enhance the resort's amenity lineup and serve as a signature attraction for future family vacations in Branson. The water park will feature a custom themed 42-foot tall central water feature with a 600-gallon tipping bucket at the top, two thrill slides and two children's slides all sitting in a eight inch pool of water with zero entry access and bubblers for infants in the pool. "Our continued investment in the Branson community reflects our commitment to evolving our resorts in ways that create lasting value for our Owners and unforgettable memories for our guests," said Jim Gissy, Chief Executive Officer of Westgate Resorts. "From exciting new attractions to refreshed accommodations and future developments like River Country Water Park, we are focused on ensuring Westgate Branson Woods Resort remains a destination families look forward to returning to year after year." In addition to the new attractions, Westgate's multi-year investment includes renovations to guest rooms across several buildings, delivering updated interiors and modern comforts throughout the property. These enhancements complement the resort's 145-acre wooded setting while aligning with the expectations of today's travelers. Last year all 76 units in the resort's Building 1000 complex were fully renovated. Located just minutes from Branson's world-famous entertainment district, Westgate Branson Woods Resort continues to evolve as a premier family destination, blending natural beauty with expanded amenities and year-round activities. The latest developments underscore Westgate Resorts' broader strategy of reinvesting in its portfolio to support long-term growth, guest satisfaction, and sustained community presence in key vacation markets. Caesars partners with Westgate for SuperBook operations.

Caesars partners with Westgate for SuperBook operations. Caesars partners with Westgate for SuperBook operations vanja mitic april 22, 2026 latest Casino and gambling news. Caesars Entertainment and Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino have agreed to a new partnership that will place Caesars Sportsbook in charge of the famed Westgate SuperBook, subject to approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission. The arrangement links one of Las Vegas' best-known sportsbook venues with one of the largest betting operators in the United States. If regulators approve the transaction, the venue will continue under the name Westgate SuperBook, powered by Caesars Sportsbook. The planned operational transition is expected to take place before the upcoming football season, a key period for Nevada sportsbooks. The agreement signals a major change for a property long associated with large betting crowds, expansive screens and one of the city's most recognizable in-person wagering environments. Caesars said it will manage race and sportsbook operations, technology and betting access while maintaining the SuperBook's established identity and atmosphere. "The Westgate SuperBook is one of the most recognizable sportsbook destinations in the world, and we are proud to partner with Westgate on the next chapter of its evolution," said Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital, in the company's press release. "By powering the SuperBook with our sportsbook platform, we're combining a legendary sportsbook environment with a modern betting menu and added convenience that reflects how sports fans want to wager today." SuperBook brand to stay in place. Westgate's sportsbook has operated as a Las Vegas fixture for decades. Opened in 1986, the SuperBook built a reputation for scale and became known as one of the largest sportsbook viewing spaces in the city. The brand has long attracted tourists, local bettors and contest participants, particularly during football season. Under the new arrangement, Westgate and Caesars said that legacy branding will remain part of the experience. Caesars emphasized that the size, feel and character of the sportsbook will be preserved even as its own technology platform is introduced. The Westgate Las Vegas SuperContest franchise will also remain part of the venue. The contest has historically been one of the most visible football handicapping competitions in Nevada and helped strengthen the SuperBook's standing among dedicated bettors. "Since opening in 1986, our SuperBook has been a defining part of the Las Vegas sports betting landscape," said Cami Christensen, President & General Manager of Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. "We are incredibly proud of that legacy and thrilled to partner with Caesars Sportsbook to take it to the next level, combining decades of history with innovation, scale, and an even more dynamic guest experience." The new setup will bring Caesars Sportsbook's national platform into the property. According to the announcement, customers can expect Same Game Parlays, a wider selection of parlays and expanded live in-play betting across professional and college sports. Caesars also plans to install self-service betting kiosks inside the SuperBook and throughout the resort. Those kiosks are intended to provide round-the-clock betting access and reduce wait times at staffed windows during peak events. Guests will also be able to complete in-person registration for the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app while visiting the property. In participating markets, customers can use Caesars' Universal Digital Wallet to move funds for deposits and withdrawals across approved retail and digital channels. That wallet system has become an increasing focus for national sportsbook operators as they try to connect in-person wagering with mobile accounts. For visitors who travel between multiple legal betting states, a unified account structure can simplify access. A shift in Las Vegas sports betting competition. The partnership comes after changes in leadership at the SuperBook operation. It also marks another example of large national sportsbook brands increasing their presence in Las Vegas through technology, mobile integration and multi-channel betting systems. For Caesars, the deal strengthens its already significant Nevada footprint by attaching its platform to one of the city's most recognized sportsbook brands. For Westgate, the partnership provides access to Caesars' broader wagering menu and digital infrastructure while keeping the SuperBook name. The transaction still requires review by the Nevada Gaming Commission, which oversees sportsbook licensing and operational changes in the state. No final implementation date has been confirmed beyond the stated goal of completing the transition before football season. Additional details regarding the changeover and the on-property rollout of Westgate SuperBook, powered by Caesars Sportsbook, are expected at a later date.
