Salary Range: 47.1 to 63.79 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-hour-wage)

The Level 0 Junior Engineer will be performing level 1 restoration using documented SOPs, Confluence sites, and past history tickets. They will ensure continuous monitoring of mission systems. This position is currently day shift, but candidates must be available to support a schedule of 7 am-7pm 12 hour shift rotating monthly to 7pm-7 am if mission requires in the future.
Design and implement HW and SW solutions including documentation, testing & modification, schematics, mechanical drawings, cable assemblies, and parts lists. Test and evaluate hardware and software designs to ensure proper operation.
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).
Capabilities
- Support a range of analytical products and functions to allow for development of signal exploitation capabilities.
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Analyze hardware specifications and system/subsystem requirements to conceive and document a practical design for hardware components to include servers, network devices, transmission media, storage devices, user interface devices, and special processors
- Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
- Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
- A minimum of one (1) year of engineering experience is required.
- A BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
