Why this role?
AI’s potential for transforming business operations is giving rise to an innovative and specialized group of AI-centric consulting firms. These small-to-mid size firms are developing and deploying AI platforms and solutions, often powered by Cohere, to address scalable enterprise use cases. As the leading AI platform for enterprise, Cohere partners closely with these emerging systems integrators to integrate our AI technology into our customers’ operations and deliver exceptional business outcomes.
Please note: To qualify for this role, you must have a deep understanding of how technology consulting firms operate and how they build consulting services and solutions around software products. Foundational knowledge of the AI tech stack as well as work experience as a manager or higher at a technology consulting firm are highly preferred.
In this role, you will develop, manage, and be accountable for our success with multiple partnerships. You will own end-to-end responsibilities including, but not limited to, the partnership business plans, strategic and financial business outcomes, joint business development, technical integrations, joint marketing campaigns, co-sell, alliance agreements, and relationships management at all levels across Cohere and the partner organization.

In this role, you will:
- Own the partner relationships and outcomes. The buck stops with you.
- Balance creativity and disciplined execution to set ambitious goals and then exceed them.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive alliance strategy and business plan. Identify key growth areas, market opportunities, and co-innovation initiatives.
- Define and drive sprints (initiatives) to get wins on the board at a regular cadence.
- Demonstrate a deep appreciation of the speed and agility of these emerging firms, their decision drivers and influencers, partnership frameworks, GTM motions, and collaboration models. Leverage this knowledge to accelerate our joint initiatives.
- Take a hands-on approach to drive the execution of alliance activities. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of joint projects. This will include tight coordination with Marketing, Product, Solution Architects, Engineering, and Sales.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on the success and impact of the alliance. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize outcomes.
