Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field and strong progressive accounting or finance experience.
  • Solid experience in finance, preferable on Industrial companies
  • Audit Background (KPMG, Deloitte, PWC, E&Y, Accenture)
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure in a timely manner statutory accounts preparation in co-ordination with Tax Department, for Dowty Legal Entities and Group Consolidation, in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAP.
  • Drive and promote controllership compliance with local laws & GE Aerospace Policies
  • Manage timely & accurate closing process, promoting connection with GE Aerospace Head Quarter
  • Ensure accounting compliance and control of internal CMR processes.
  • Work closely with commercial and operations teams to understand implications of transactions and other matters applying proper accounting policies.
  • Provide technical accounting/financial reporting advice and support, consulting with GE Aerospace Controllership team and external auditor when appropriate.
  • Document key accounting internal standard operating procedures.
  • Key contact for regulatory and external auditors
  • Ensure proper control, integrity, and reconciliation for all business accounting activities.
  • Coordinate Internal (GE Aerospace) and External (Genpact) Resources to ensure accounting processes improvement and their connection with other Business functions (e.g. AP, AR, C&B, Payroll)
  • Cross-Functional co-ordination across multiple functions, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, quality assurance and supply chain.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor the NPI programme budget, including forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Provide financial input for the project proposal, including cost estimation, pricing, strategy, and risk management.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and variance analysis along with Project dashboard to the GE Aerospace focal, NPI Programmes Leader, wider project, and senior management.
  • Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with the project management teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in project scheduling and cost control processes and proposal estimates using work breakdown structure methodologies to estimate the labour and material requirements and support the company strategic planning process.
Desired Qualifications
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP Accounting and of accounting closing processes and procedures
  • Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in complex situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, properly manage priorities and drive execution.
  • Advance computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite (excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • ERP systems knowledge (Oracle/HFM).
  • Sound understanding of global process and transactional flows.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment.
  • Chartered Accountant (FCMA/CGMA)
