Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT or Development Operations related roles
  • 1+ years of experience in the Hi-tech industry
  • Experience with Deployment Tools: SALT, CHEF, PUPPET, VMWARE, Jenkins
  • Experience with Database Environments: MySQL, Casandra
  • Experience with Linux server administration
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles
  • Exposure to multiple programming languages
Responsibilities
  • Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information.
  • Collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components.
  • Automate provisioning of the servers and applications stack.
  • Deploy application code in multiple environments and data centers.
  • Design, maintain, and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
  • Help design ‘self-healing’ solutions to help ensure the stability and security of our services.
  • Design and implement data backup procedures and disaster recovery plans.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems.
  • Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use.
  • Ability to work across multiple functions and collaborate within a team environment.
  • Innovative and can solve problems with unconventional techniques. Strong ability to think outside of the box.
