Steadfast Health provides outpatient addiction treatment that lowers barriers to care by offering same-day, walk-in access and accepting all insurance plans, with in-person and telehealth clinics in Cleveland and Nashville. Its model combines three core services: Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) using medications like Suboxone and Vivitrol, evidence-based behavioral therapy (CBT and motivational interviewing), and peer recovery support, complemented by case management for housing, employment, and legal needs. Unlike some providers, Steadfast Health focuses on non-punitive, patient-centered care designed to engage patients where they are and promote long-term recovery rather than short-term stabilization. The company aims to set a new standard of care for Substance Use Disorder, reduce treatment disparities, and achieve sustained recovery by integrating medical treatment, therapy, and social support under one umbrella.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • July 2026 postings show hiring across Cleveland, Nashville, and New Canton.
  • All-insurance acceptance and walk-in access reduce friction for Medicaid and commercial patients.
  • Partnership language with hospitals and ERs supports same-day consult referrals and patient flow.

What critics are saying

  • Growth remains tiny: two clinics and 11 openings cannot withstand local payer or referral shocks.
  • Behavioral health giants and hospital systems can copy same-day access faster than Steadfast scales.
  • If reimbursement tightens, one underperforming market can starve cash and freeze expansion.

What makes Steadfast Health unique

  • Steadfast Health opened Cleveland and Nashville with same-day, walk-in SUD care in 2026.
  • It combines MAT, therapy, peer support, and case management under one outpatient model.
  • Will Johnson and Dr. Jaimee G. Mac Stephen built a stigma-free, low-barrier access brand.
