Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of professional experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects on time and within budget.
  • Licensure: Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred, depending on the role’s focus.
  • Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management, with a deep understanding of the entire project lifecycle.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and oversee all aspects of project delivery.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of design, construction methods, building codes, and sustainable practices, with the ability to manage technical aspects of projects.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop practical solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client objectives and firm standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment that drives project success.
  • Client Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded throughout the project.
  • Budget & Schedule Management: Oversee project budgets and schedules, track progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Resource Management: Assign and monitor project team roles, responsibilities, and workloads. Mentor junior team members and guide them in ID&D practices.
  • Financial Oversight: Track project finances, monitor budgets and approve expenditures. Work closely with accounting and finance teams to ensure financial accuracy and profitability
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the firm’s standards for design excellence, technical accuracy, and sustainability.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring smooth execution and successful outcomes.
  • Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between all project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and internal team members.
  • Contract Administration: Manage contracts, including negotiation, administration, and compliance, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met.
  • Reporting: Update firm leadership on project status, including progress, risks, and financial performance.
  • Innovation & Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve project delivery processes, integrating new technologies, methodologies, and best practices into the firm’s operations.
  • Versatility: Adapting to various roles within a project, whether in leadership or support, while consistently performing at a high level. Proactively handles tasks beyond the primary scope and adjusts to changing priorities to ensure project success, team collaboration, and firm excellence.
