Responsibilities
  • To ensure that the quality levels of administration is always maintained at its highest level.
  • To keep an accurate and efficient diary in line with that of the Director of Kitchens, Executive Sous Chef and the Food & Beverage Director and to ensure that all the requirements are set within a specific time frame.
  • To attend the regular Management meetings and minute each meeting to distribute those minutes to the relevant teams.
  • To co-ordinate and oversee people management software and ensure that all CDC’s and Venue Managers manage their departments properly ensuring colleagues are rostered correctly
  • Ensures proper timekeeping of culinary staff, and processes for AL and VL are followed, so that colleagues are paid correctly. To ensure Venue Managers are processing timekeeping daily.
  • To ensure that a safe, hygienically fit working environment is always maintained and reports any concerns or faults immediately to the immediate supervisor.
  • To remain updated on all resort happenings, including guests in-house, arrivals and departures, as well as daily events.
  • To understand and apply the resort’s Policies & Procedures, including during emergency situations.
  • To attend all training carried out by the Training Department and ensure all culinary staff attend training as per scheduled by the department.
  • Welcome all new chef arrivals.
  • To maintain the highest levels of personal hygiene and always grooming, as per standard.
  • To ensure excellent communication and working relationships with colleagues are maintained and contribute to the team spirit.
