THE POSITION

FanDuel is hiring a Commercial Analyst to help formulate and execute the strategic vision for the Daily Fantasy Sports business (DFS) and adjacent verticals. You will play an important role in the creation and execution of commercial strategy, analysis of business and customer data, and driving efficient outcomes for the DFS P&L. This is a highly collaborative role, and you will work closely with stakeholders across verticals such as finance, marketing and product. A successful candidate will be a self-starter with high attention to detail and advanced problem solving skills. This is a full-time position.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

• Partner with DFS Commercial team members to analyze and evaluate key strategic and operational decisions
• Monitor and report on business performance against targets
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual business forecasting processes
• Provide analytical support (dashboards, ad-hoc queries, sensitivity analyses) to address specific initiatives
• Collaborate on or own A/B analyses for marketing and other key stakeholders
• Automate reporting workflows and/or data models
• Keep a pulse on the competitive landscape, researching the latest industry trends and continuously looking for new ways to improve our competitive positioning

THE STATS
What we’re looking for in our next teammate

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Stats or relevant experience in business analysis
• 1-3 years’ experience in strategy, analytics, or finance preferred
• Creative problem solver with aptitude for both qualitative and quantitative analysis
• A strong willingness and ability to present analyses and insights to supervisor(s)
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Powerpoint required, experience with tableau/data visualization, Python, or R a plus
• Interest in and familiarity with the Real Money Gaming and/or Daily Fantasy Sports sectors a plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $74,000 - $92,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
