Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering within OT/ICS environments (oil & gas, utilities, pharma, manufacturing)
  • Strong knowledge of ICS/SCADA protocols and systems (e.g., Honeywell, Modbus, DNP3, OPC, Siemens, ABB)
  • Experience architecture and engineering cybersecurity solutions in critical infrastructure
  • Familiarity with standards like ISA/IEC 62443, NIST CSF, and experience designing secure ICS environments
  • Ability to model technical and human resource requirements for large-scale OT security programs
  • Working knowledge of physical security for OT assets, including access control and surveillance systems
  • Experience using or integrating security automation, SOAR tools, and AI/ML models in cybersecurity
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management capabilities
Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and administration of Smart Plant Foundation (SPF) across engineering and capital projects
  • Design end-to-end OT cybersecurity architectures aligned with industry standards (ISA/IEC 62443, NIST 800-82)
  • Develop Industrial Cybersecurity Operational Models including capability frameworks and RACI matrices
  • Engineer secure network zoning, segmentation, and industrial DMZs within ICS/SCADA environments
  • Lead technical assessments and gap analyses for OT cybersecurity across greenfield and brownfield projects
  • Drive the selection and integration of cybersecurity technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEMs) within industrial environments
  • Provide engineering input for physical and logical security controls across ICS components
  • Research and recommend AI/ML applications for anomaly detection, threat intelligence, and predictive maintenance
  • Advocate and integrate cybersecurity automation tools to enhance response efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with internal teams (IT, OT, Engineering, Compliance) and external stakeholders (OEMs, vendors, contractors)
  • Conduct technical workshops, POCs, and FAT/SAT for cybersecurity solutions
  • Act as a key interface between engineering, project delivery, and executive leadership for cybersecurity-related initiatives
  • Ensure solutions comply with industry regulations (NERC CIP, NIST, ISO, etc.) and client specifications
  • Develop cybersecurity documentation, architectural diagrams, risk assessments, and audit reports
  • Mentor junior engineers and support the development of national employees in cybersecurity disciplines
Desired Qualifications
  • Industry certifications: GICSP, CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISA/IEC 62443, or equivalent
  • Experience in red/blue teaming coordination, penetration testing, and cyber drill facilitation
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK for ICS, FAIR risk modeling, and AI/ML model development
  • Exposure to FAT, I-FAT, SAT, and industrial cybersecurity proof-of-concept (PoC) activities
