Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience trading Chinese Commodities and pertinent industry experience
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Financial Engineering, Statistics, Math, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of the Chinese futures market structure
  • Demonstrated passion for financial markets, finance, and trading
  • Deep understanding of finance, math, and statistics
  • Attention to detail and the ability to make sound judgments under pressure
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • A strategy that is currently and consistently profitable; we are open to all markets and asset classes ranging from physical to electronic in any part of the world
  • This position requires physical presence and is onsite at our office in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
  • Utilize expertise in relative value market fundamentals, quantitative modeling, and risk management in the Chinese commodities space
  • Build and maintain quantitative model tools and analytics
  • Manage real-time execution of trading system
  • Collaborate with Senior Traders and Junior Traders to contribute to learnings and strategies
  • Mentor Junior Traders and promote their learning on the desk
